The clients presented us with the task of implementing a substantial extension to their residence in Newton, underscoring their desire for a solution that not only fulfills their familial requirements but also adheres to the parameters outlined by prevailing zoning regulations. We embraced the opportunity to devise a design that seamlessly integrates with the existing structure while accommodating their evolving needs.

In addressing the needs of this family unit of four, our design approach prioritized the creation of additional space conducive to recreational activities, remote work , comprehensive storage provisions, and the facilitation of social gatherings.

The decision to pursue an extension reflects a prevailing trend wherein homeowners seek to enhance their living environments without the upheaval associated with relocation, a particularly pertinent consideration within the context of a challenging real estate landscape.
